It will be a one-day workshop featuring presentations and posters by European researchers, discussion panels on issues of relevance for Japan-Europe mobility, and a networking reception in order to kick-start an active network of European researchers based in Japan on the basis of the EURAXESS Links Japan community and of the already existing national researcher groups or associations.
Who can attend the event?
Researchers of any nationality (including Japanese!), any discipline and any career level; education or research management professionals, students, IR professionals...
Different “in-focus” sessions:
- A session on possibilities with Europe (funding / cooperation / mobility / relocation),
- A session on opportunities in Japan (funding / cooperation / jobs),
- A short session on ways to advertise your research and bring it to the technology transfer phase,
- A session to launch the EURAXESS Survey of European Researchers in Japan, to give you the opportunity of expressing your needs, especially regarding cooperation or relocation to Europe,
- And a interactive session on stepping up in your career through European, Global and Hidden job markets for researchers
...And a full day of presentations by researchers!
- Four oral presentation sessions and a poster session by Japan based researchers from various fields (including humanities and social sciences), various career levels (from PhD candidates to professors), and various European countries!
